One of the most common forms of eczema is dyshidrotic eczema! This form of eczema causes small blisters on your fingers, toes, palms and the soles of your feet. This type of eczema is more common in women as it is men. According to recent reports, dyshidrotic eczema is twice as common in females than in males. Dyshidrotic eczema is common between the season changing time. It is associated with the seasonal allergies one suffers from. Dyshidrotic eczema is more likely to attack a person in the spring season. According to reports many people suffer from eczema in spring more frequently than any other season.

Dyshidrotic eczema can take up to a month to heal. After around three weeks they start to dry, and they can be painful and huge sometimes. As eczema dries it may turn into cracks in your skin, or it can also cause your skin to feel thick, or you may sometime feel your skin as spongey. This often happens when you have been scratching the area a lot.

  • Stress that can be mental and emotional.
  • Pollens, especially it can get worse in spring in the flower season.
  • Moist hands due to sweat or water contact can also make it worse as we have mentioned earlier that it only gets better when its dry.
  • Wearing or using nickel in any form can be harmful to you while you are suffering from eczema. These objects include jewelry, keys, cell phones, frames, stainless steel items, metal buttons, snaps, and zippers.
  • Nickel in food can also trigger eczema so if you are thinking of how to get rid of dyshidrotic eczema then don’t use these products: cocoa, chocolate, soybeans, oatmeals, nuts, almonds, fresh and dried legumes and especially canned food of any kind.
  • Furthermore, cobalt in everyday use can also make dyshidrotic eczema remedy impossible. E.g., Blue dishware, paints, varnishes and some of the metal equipment having cobalt in them.
  • Food having cobalt can have an effect on eczema. These include fish, leaf green vegetables, liver, milk, nuts, oats, oysters, red meat and eggs.
  • Chromium salts can also be a cause of making eczema worse so try not using it.

So, How To Treat Dyshidrotic Eczema?

So as mentioned earlier there no scientific cure for this type of eczema but yes there is dyshidrotic eczema home treatment. These home treatment or remedies include soaking your hands or feet whatever is affected in cold water or apply a cold compress for 15 minutes three to four time a day. After this practice, you must apply a skin repairing cream or lotion on the area or coconut oil so that your skin heals. This is one of the widely used Dyshidrotic eczema treatments.

For more severe cases of dyshidrotic eczema cure, a doctor may prescribe you topical steroids. In some case, they may also give you some doses of Botox to reduce your sweating.
